Project Completion Update

In 2018, InStitchu launched our ‘Suits To Sips’ campaign in collaboration with non-profit organisation charity: water, to help bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries.

Today on #WorldWaterDay2022 we’re honoured to announce that 100% of InStitchu’s ‘Suits To Sips’ campaign donation to charity: water has funded the completion of 11 gravity-fed, solar-powered and mechanised piped system tap stands giving people living in the Sindhuli and Baglung Districts of Nepal access to clean and safe drinking water.

InStitchu’s ‘Suits To Sips’ campaign donation was also part of 2,847 charity: water projects that have brought clean water to 44,112 people in Nepal, including the training of local communities to maintain their water points.

We’re humbled and elated to update you with this news, it’s truly an honor to present you with this Completion Timeline Report. Thank you for helping to provide clean and safe drinking water to help transform the future for 44,112 people in Nepal.

2018

Suits To Sips Campaign Runs

InStitchu pledge $150USD from each ‘Suits To Sips’ Suit sale & $30USD from each #16 fabric suit sale (during the campaign period) to be donated to charity: water.

2019 

InStitchu Donates To charity: water

charity: water receives InStitchu’s total campaign donation and begins work preparing, constructing & training local communities to maintain their water points. 

2020

The Global Pandemic Hits

As the pandemic raged, access to fresh water was made even more difficult - movement, health risks & building new infrastructure were all challenging.

2021

Project Completion

100% of InStitchu’s donation to charity: water funded 11 tap stands for people living in the Sindhuli & Baglung Districts of Nepal.
