Inside Toby Greene's Wedding

17 November, 2025

Toby Greene, captain of the GWS Giants, chose classic black-tie elegance for his wedding to Georgia Stirton at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel - elevated through a fully custom InStitchu tuxedo.

For the ceremony overlooking Sydney Harbour, Toby wore a Loro Piana Super 150s cream tuxedo jacket, tailored to his exact measurements. The wide shawl lapel and clean, minimal detailing gave the look a timeless feel - sharp, refined and understated, letting the cut and cloth do all the talking.

Anchoring the cream jacket, Toby opted for black Loro Piana Super 150s trousers, cut with a sleek, modern line to balance comfort and formality throughout the day and well into the evening. An Italian-crafted cummerbund and self-tie bow tie completed the look, adding the final touches of old-world black-tie tradition.

The result was a groom’s outfit that felt both classic and personal: a luxury cloth, precise tailoring and thoughtful design details, crafted around Toby’s style and the relaxed-luxe setting of Watsons Bay.

How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in high school, we went to the same school and grew up in the same suburb. We have known and been together for a very long time so it was only natural to take the next step.

What made your wedding day feel unique to you both?

Our wedding day felt unique to us, simply by the atmosphere in the room and having all our friends and family there. Was a great celebration of our love which we were able to express in our personalised vows.

Why did you choose InStitchu for your wedding suit?

Toby wore InStitchu as last year's Brownlow Medal Awards and was just extremely impressed by the quality and fit. He felt comfortable with the brand and knew exactly what he was getting. He had a great experience also with all his groomsmen during a fitting and knew it would be a seamless and easy process to make all their suits, including his.

Any advice for couples planning their wedding wardrobe?

I would just say to start early to limit stress as much as possible. Make sure your outfits compliment each other in both colour and style - also, I’m a big believer in comfort, so whatever you feel most comfortable and confident in!

What feedback did you get on the day about your suit?

People really loved the slightly different vibe with the white jacket, complimenting Georgia's white dress. People just said it looked really sharp and was an amazing fit!

What's new for you in married life? Or if there is!

Nothing changes for us, just life as usual. We will enjoy the Christmas break with family and continue to spend as much time as possible with our daughter and little family.
