Weddings are, at their core, a celebration of two people - but they are also a reflection of culture, tradition and personal style. For Jyotindra, our Full Stack Developer, his wedding in Kathmandu was all three - a vibrant, meaningful homecoming set against the rich textures and traditions of Nepal.
With nearly 300 of his closest family and friends in attendance, the day was nothing short of extraordinary.
“Our wedding was a huge celebration back home in Nepal. Having almost 300 of our closest family and friends there made it so lively and full of blessings. For me, the most special part was being back where my parents and family live, performing our traditional rituals surrounded by the people who raised me. It was a truly amazing experience.”

For a setting so steeped in tradition, Jyotindra knew his wedding look needed to strike the right balance - respectful of the occasion, yet distinctly modern.
Rather than opting for off-the-rack or rental, he chose to design a custom suit that would reflect both the significance of the day and his personal style.
“Even though I was preparing for a wedding in Nepal, I wanted a suit that had a modern, sharp edge. Designing it was fun because I got to pick every detail, from the fabric to the buttons, making sure it was exactly what I had in mind for the big day.”
The result was a double-breasted suit in a rich, earthy bronze tone - a colour choice that felt considered and contextual, complementing the warm reds and brick textures of Kathmandu’s architecture.
Paired with a floral tie and sharp sunglasses, the look was confident, contemporary and entirely his own.

In a moment as significant as a wedding day, detail matters—and fit is everything.
“Off-the-rack suits never fit quite right in the shoulders or the waist. I wanted a ‘perfect fit’ that felt premium and unique—something you just can’t get from a rental shop or a standard store.”
From the outset, the goal was clear: a suit that didn’t just look good, but felt right.
“It felt great right away. The moment I put it on, I could tell it was made specifically for my frame. It gave me that boost of confidence you need when you know you’ll be the centre of attention and in thousands of photos all day.”
That confidence - subtle, but powerful - is what defines a well-tailored garment.

On the day, the response spoke for itself.
“The guests loved it! In a crowd of 300 people, everyone was commenting on the colour and how well-tailored it looked. My family was proud to see me looking so sharp, and my partner thought the style was perfect - modern but classic enough for our traditional setting.”
In a celebration where tradition and modernity meet, the right tailoring becomes more than just clothing - it becomes part of the story.

For Jyotindra, the experience reinforced a simple idea: when it comes to your wedding day, there’s no substitute for something made just for you.
“Don’t settle for ‘good enough.’ Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Going with InStitchu means you get a suit that fits your body and your personality perfectly. If you want to stand out and feel like a king on your big day, custom is the only way to go.”
Because the best wedding suits aren’t just designed for the day - they’re tailored for the moments that last long after it.
